Global Intergenerational Week 2026
The overall purpose of the AIIP is to re-connect communities through the development, implementation and evaluation of intergenerational programs. Our long-term vision is for intergenerational interactions and programs to be a normal part of our everyday life in both formal and informal settings. Being country lead for Global Intergenerational Week is great way to achieve our vision. Being a part of GIW is easy and fun!

4th Annual Conference February 2025 in Sydney
The 2025 AIIP conference highlighted the transformative power of shared experiences and mutual learning through captivating Stories from the Field, showcasing real-world applications of intergenerational practices, research and thought leadership. Thanks to our generous sponsors TLC Early Learning, Y Careers, Torrens University and Australian Association of Gerontology.

Global Intergenerational Week
In 2022 intergenerational week is going global! The campaign is led by an Executive Team involving Generations Working Together from Scotland in partnership with Linking Generations Northern Ireland, Bridging the Generations, (Wales), and The Beth Johnson Foundation (England).
