The Australian Institute for Intergenerational Practice (AIIP) delivers professional development opportunities, networks, and advocates for intergenerational environments for better communities across Australia. One of their initiatives is “KNext” an online forum for members to meet regularly to explore and refine their intergenerational practices through sharing experiences and discussing barriers and facilitators for best practice programs. These are informal get-togethers are aimed at continuing the national conversation about integrated communities, hence the name—connecting to hear about what comes next.
These small group discussions are free for AIIP members, creating a supportive, peer mentoring environment where the topic of discussion is flexible and tailored to participants’ needs. Facilitated by AIIP Board members, you might seek feedback on new ideas, share and gain insights from others and build our Intergenerational Practice network.
The first “KNext” will be on Monday 31 January from 5:00pm–7:00pm (AEST).
At this first meeting we will discuss the details of future sessions, such as: When is the best time? What topics would you like to see discussed? Is there anyone you would like to meet and learn from? What should the size be? How can you contribute to this community of practice?
